Fight festival annually celebrates in
IBI city of Spain in 28th of December where people celebrate the festival with
a battle using flour, eggs and firecrackers to celebrate this festival people
divide in two groups a group of married men, called the Els Enfarinats, battle
against the opposition, called La Oposicio, people with army getup.
According
to The Los Angeles Times, the Els Enfarinats enact ridiculous laws and fine
people who infringe upon them. The money collected from the fines is donated to
charitable causes in the town by the end of the day. After the festival people
also take part in cleaning the city which became dirty by pouring flours and
eggs.
